Phil Price  "With Cheerful Voice" is a really good Gig.  The basic idea is that you learn (not a lot of) music in advance and then sing with other regular choir singers in a fabulous place.

This time its at the Royal Naval College at Greenwich. Recently we have sung in Rochester Cathedral and Ightem Mote!

Several Questors members regularly show at these events.

Phil Price writes:

There is still time to join what should be a fantastic weekend in the Old Royal Naval College Chapel in Greenwich on September 9th and 10th .

On the Saturday evening after dinner in The Mitre, an historic Greenwich pub next door to St Alfege’s Church, we shall have an informal sing of some sea-related songs and the odd Victorian hymn.

The Chapel itself and the setting in the Baroque buildings of the Old Royal Naval College right beside the Thames are spectacular, and there is plenty to see after lunch on Sunday including the Maritime Museum, Greenwich Meridian, the Cutty Sark, and, up at the top of the hill, Flamsteed House, once the Royal Observatory.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
