How to be a model choir member...

1. Pay your membership fee at the stipulated time (see below).

2. Make sure you arrive in time to start singing at 8 pm, allowing for all “preliminaries” and settling in.

3. On arrival, make sure your section Rep knows you have arrived.

4. At the same time, please check for and collect any new music or other paperwork that you do not already have.

5. Indicate known, unavoidable absences by letting your section Rep know.

Escape to the country and sing your heart out with award winning conductor Hannah Brine

Choral Conductor Hannah Brine is hosting two countryside singing retreats this year (Essex -  1st-3rd June & Stourbridge 30th August - 2nd September) and we wondered if any of your choir members or students would be interested in coming along?

Admission: 
Admission as an audience member to The London Sangerstevne is FREE though a contribution is encouraged. There maybe an admission free at some of the other venues through the weekend.

 

There are a number of concerts through the afternoon with multiple choirs in each one. We will update the details gere once we know which "slot" we are in.

"Don't eat string & other good advice" our 2018 Summer Concert

Admission: 
£12 for Concessions and Advance Adult booking via a choir member or via the website when available (Not currently available) or £14 (at the door on the evening of the concert). Under 12's Free (though a ticket is still required and checks maybe made).
 

Come along and discover both favourite pieces and new ones to love, in our quirky collection of unusual and familiar songs from the 20th century, and a mix of traditional British and American folk songs.

Workshop 2018. Sing the Cherubini requiem

Admission: 

Philip Norman entertained us through the afternoon with detailed knowledge of the history and workings of Requiem Mass's with examples of famous and not so, versions and how composors constructed their music. There were over 35 in the audience all happily taking part in the singing of pieces.
