    On a perfect Spring evening, our Spring Bouquet Concert naturally focused on love, with a walk through the woods, a wedding, deadly passion, hope and regret and a chanson d’amour, of course. Being close to Easter, we also offered several pleas for redemption and peace, gloriously led by the very talented mezzo soprano Lotte Betts-Dean*, our accompanist Ben Lewis-Smith and of course, our inspirational MD, Paul Ayres.  Our audience gave us great support and appreciation and everyone was clearly moved: our retiring collection for the DEC fund for Ukraine raised £660, doubled through match funding to a wonderful £1,320. It was a great night. We thank everyone for coming and being so generous.
