On Saturday 6th September 11am till 4pm our Open Workshop will start rehearsals for Joanna Forbes L’Estrange’s A Season to Sing, a choral arrangement of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. Harrow Choral Society is one of 55 choirs worldwide which have given financial support to this project. This first rehearsal will lead to our performance on 11th October.
A second opportunity will be on Saturday 15th November 11am till 4pm for our Come & Sing Mendelssohn’s Elijah. Those who attended last year’s successful event will remember it as an entertaining and fulfilling day of glorious singing!
Both events will take place at St Albans Church Hall, North Harrow HA2 7PF, with Sam Evans leading us, accompanied by Paul Ayres.
All singers welcome, music will be available. Registration is from 10:30, tea and coffee will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch.
The nearest Tube stations are North Harrow (Watford branch of the Metropolitan line) and Rayners Lane (Uxbridge branch of the Metropolitan line). The H11 bus stops outside St. Albans Church and H9/H10 busses stop close by.
